With a crystal-clear and marvellous voice, Namakoro made his debuts with orchestra ‘Baniko Jazz’ in Dioïla where he was born. The band participated in countless Cultural and Artistic Biennale in Koulikoro region in Mali. He then left for Ivory Cost where he met Sory Bamba and his band “Le Kanaga de Mopti”. Afterwards, he co-worked with Koko Dembélé and each of them recorded their first solo albums. Namakoro has a typically bambara repertory reminding of Komo cult. With a voice of peculiar purity, this veteran musician still makes his audience swings with the rhythm of his last album 'Baniko'.
